Ushpa attempting to come into Los Angeles and blocking Bob will be their undoing. I believe that is largely up to Joe Greblo. I'm not seeing much ambiguity in... Just to clarify Bob's post above..... Everyone pilot flying Dockweiler Beach will be required to be a member of the USHPA. This is an imp...

It would be interesting to see the poster take the same harness and same model glider and recreate exactly how they got fooled into believing they were hooked in when they weren't. Instead what I see here is the wholesale disparagement of what many consider to the the single-most effective and appl...

I've witnessed a pilot hoist the glider upwards just prior to launch and, while convinced he was hooked in, he wasn't. Hoisting the glider upwards without a visual inspection can fail and has. Can you elaborate a little? Did the "pilot" fail to hoist the glider far enough to feel the tug ...

You're probably wasting your time Bob. You're "not an appropriate person to bring anything to the USHPA."

Why do you think it was? Did he break an established rule?

Re: USHPA Accident/Incident Report System

Whatever you do don't write about it here. If you have valuable information that will help others avoid repeating the same experiences you should put it where only three people can access it and wait to see if they ever release it.

It depends entirely on how bent the wire is at the load. For sake of argument let's say the 50 lb load is appl...

Thanks OP,

I would like to see him go supine in it too. Very nice looking harness. Don't think I'd want to fly a pg prone, but that harness might work for
me. I'll be giving dual purpose harnesses more thought.

Hi Janyce,

Yes I will. Used ones seem rare, that may be my best bet.

Thank you, Brian

Supine harness for suprone

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a used supine harness to fly suprone. I'd prefer

enclosed, but I'm also interested in skyfloater setups (light-weight pg

harness with spreader bar).Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks, Brian Scharp
