Sorry, I was referring to Gil L. system not yours.
Also if the actuator is pushing it should take vary little power to retract, right?
Doug, a limit switch is an excellent idea, but might not be needed if the actuator is the correct length.

Thanks Juan, I tried that APCO system when Erwin had it. I used a car battery and it did not have enough power for my Light Speed.

Just spoke to Greg Kendal and the big question is how much force is needed? Greg thinks 20:1 reduction @ maybe 20lb. That should be 400lb. of force. What do you think?

The rubber mat, got pulled up by the tractor on the 2nd trip up to rework the ramp. If anyone has a larger rubber mat that we can use please step up. I'd like to cover about 12" of the edge in dirt, to keep it from being something to trip on.

Relic Rally

Relic Rally BBQ, I was thinking about all the old pilots that have started flying again, and would like to incorporate old or unique gliders as well. Maybe Lynn can let us know what might be a good Saturday to do this, maybe 2 weeks from now? So far we have a TR-3 Buste's,Viper 38 foot wing span Bub...

Glass off.

In the last week or so, I've had two really nice late day glass off flights. Both days I left the LZ at 4:30, if you get a chance to go out late , it could be worth it? Just thought I'd let ya know.

The reason the discussion about the gazebo was started is due to the fact that it is in need of repair, AND we don't have a place to get out of the weather. Now we could go home but... The gazebo could be repaired without cutting down the plants if we just take our time. We could have a real roof an...
