Do the "Hands Free" laws apply to hang gliding? If not, I want one so I can talk on the phone and text while flying! Oh Hell - I'll just talk and text no matter what the law says - it won't affect my flying.

It is unfortunate that your picture does not show all the people that helped that day - or for that matter all the people that worked on this project for the last couple of weeks.

GENERALLY, the most active club members become Board members because they care about the club therefore they do a disproportional amount of the work.

Does anyone wonder why people don't want to be on the Board?

Some of you may know Mark Knight as one the dragonfly tug pilots out of Arizona - he also worked the Santa Cruz Flats comp. Apparently he had a fatal accident late Sunday. No further details are available at this time.

I understood it was Joe Greblo. Launched the 1500. The collapsing wings were a quick release set-up, and the sparks were computer animation.

I took them out on Saturday - thought it was someone jacking around.

Is there any guidelines/requests for food? Such as last names starting with A-M should be a main course, N-Z should bring ???????????

The food was great - especially the Chili and Cornbread. I had seconds of each.

Is it possible for people such as Dr. Jeff to sign/submit a form that is used SOLEY to establish a quorum? This is commonly used by HOA. If this is allowed we need to get as many people as possible to sign/submit the form even is they plan on attending the meeting/party.

I'll call you next week and we can set up a time/day that works for everyone. We need some muscle - both of us are pretty much useless at this time.

Found leaning against the East Storage Box (next to the Tractor). It fits a T2C - don't ask how I know. I moved it to the "lost & found" box. If no one claims it - I have first "dibs".

I saw Ken Howells yesterday. He mentioned he saw Ken Andrews name on the results list after just taking delivery of the T2C. I mentioned that Ken was doing better than past years - on a LiteSpeed S. Ken H said "It has to be the Glider"!
