Sunday BBQ
Don't know who was responsible for Sunday's BBQ but thanks! I didn't see a "donation box" so I hope the club picked up the tab.
Thanks again.

I agree with Jim
I agree with Jim's suggestion. It would require more work but in the end would look nicer (especially with a matching roof). Let's do it right!

Re: stickers
Better to have someone on launch go through it with you and point out the locations. Also, landing there is better avoided anyway. Plan on the 10th St. LZ or go over the back. As of Labor Day 2012 - the airport was the primary LZ. The primary location being on the North end (you have to clear a 8' ...

Rules vs. Common Sense
There are "Rules" aka LAWs because "Common Sense" isn't very common.

Distractions are Fine!
After thinking about it for a while - I kind of like the idea of distractions when I'm landing. It would provide a reasonable excuse why I'm so bad at it.

Soooooooo....
Who won? Especially those "hotly contested positions" for Events and Directors at Large.
Are we going to find out how many votes each candidate actually got - or is that a secret?

Ask an Engineer...
Ask an Engineer what time it is and they will tell you how to build a watch or how one operates.
Ken always provides an in-depth explanation and alternatives.
I'm sure the Board will make the right decision - its not like there is a lot of interest in assuming/running for the position.

Already Voted
Ken,
So let me get this straight - Lynden's last minute change of heart means I wasted my vote?
Is it possible for Lynden to simply "designate" the votes he receives to another candidate?

Illegal Use
It is my understanding that transmitting on a Ham radio by an unlicensed operator is NOT always illegal!
I believe if it is an emergency it is legal for anyone to transmit on the radio.
