I think it's a good idea for future use. If we can get wi-fi into the skies, think about the way technology is progressing, where we could have live streaming of video cameras in a few years. That could only be good for our club and getting new pilots. Plus it means I can bring my laptop and work wh...

Before additional funds are spent on the LZ or a CUP, shouldn't we make efforts to secure the launch, which is privately owned and could be re-developed? Without Kagel there's no HG (or PG) in LA.

Lost Cell phone

Black smartphone which says google and/or Samsung on the back. I think it dropped out of my pocket when I was setting up my HG. If you find it please let me know. Three One Oh 967 9182.

Thanks,

Re: Are carbon fiber cross bars safer

Slightly OT but I don't understand why someone flying a topless HG is news.

The fifth C

Crotch Clearance Connection Chin and Cords This Saturday I neglected to check whether my pod harness cords (the ones that control the zipper) were velcroed in place. Turns out the one for opening the harness was tucked into the harness itself, so zipping up made it impossible to grab it and zip out....

Thanks. I'm Mike (the English one not Soultanian).

I'm a current member. Any idea how much the cost is likely to be? I assumed it would be $20/mo like the other storage.

Since we're being creative here (and I'm bored) how about a mechanism to disable or trap the vandal. We could electrify the lock and assuming he doesn't use gloves (and we do) and the voltage is high enough just wait for it to knock him out. Or...when it's blowing down and no pilots are going up, pu...

Thanks for the tent offer, I'll take you up on that. Appreciate it!

Looks like I'll be eating plenty of those kosher dogs, better spend this weekend getting in shape.

If I bring some food will a cooler last all weekend?

Camping gear for Big Sur

Since Jews don't really camp (we prefer hotels), I don't have any camping gear. Could previous Big Sur participants let me know what to take, apart from a tent and sleeping bag, since I'm pretty clueless.

Also, can anyone lend or rent me the equipment if you're not going?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Guys, Mike here (English guy, new H2). How about having the phone company install a line at the new gazebo? $15/month for basic service Or even better, get an internet line for a bit more (so we can have wifi) and a phone number for around $40 a year from Skype, and an internet phone to go with i...
