I reconsidered what was showing up in the Member Photos page and decided to make some changes. There seemed no point to including faces that would probably never be seen again. It was, after all, supposed to be a place to introduce current pilots, friends and family to each other. Therefore, I removed many members who:

1) Will never fly again
2) I have never seen
3) Haven't been seen in the last year
and/or
4) Are expired and any one item above.

Yes, I allowed a few favorite "usters" to remain but I expect to remove them in the next round, if their status doesn't change to "go fly."

Please, please, please, you photo hounds that lurk in the sky, expend a few pixels on new faces or even old faces; I'll exchange for better likenesses.

For those nostalgia buffs who want to keep up those "gone but not forgotten" I suggested to the BOD that a historical page be added. You may make your wishes known here.

For those that didn't make the usters list, but are still paid up in shga and ushga, but just don't show up much, list our names as paid up members.

Sorry, Jim. I tried to check the member list for status before I removed anyone. You weren't really gone, you just didn't have a caption.

At least I know that someone is still looking at the page; that makes it worth keeping up. BTW, a short bio to go with your mug shot would be nice.

I am not entering people that I don't have a picture of to post. All members, expired or not, appear in the searchable list in the secure area.

Hi Jim,

Yes a 'gone but not forgotten' page is most appropriate. We still carry the pain and would like to revisit once in awhile. I think it also does good for some of us as a reminder to be careful out there.

Thanks in advance for getting this done (I am assuming that it happens). Besides those who have left us in the last year or so (or longer) from flying accidents, also remember to post Walter if possible.
