The May USHPA calendar picture has something funny about it that people who fly at Yosemite should notice. Here it is in case you haven't seen the calendar.

Wheels are not allowed at Yosemite, unless it is Rome flying.

Wheels

I flew my Sport 2 with wheels. Never came up as an issue.

Wheels are greatly discouraged. Wheeled gliders tend to roll off of the steep launch during hook in with or without the pilot. The Landing Zone is high grass offering no advantage for a "wheeled" landing.

It also looks like it may have been Photoshopped. Granted, this isn't the easiest image to do that with, but with patience, it's doable. The lighting is not the same between the background and the pilot. Notice the high contrast on his helmet caused by bright sunlight. The sky in the background is overcast and gray looking. Something doesn't feel right.

What struck me is how the pilot got higher than launch since there is no soaring. Unless perhaps the pilot arrived with altitude. I do remember a pilot flying over the Sierras east to west about a decade ago.
