Launch windsock

Post by rsherwoo »

Now that we have a locked gate, is there any talk of reinstalling a real windsock at launch?

Wind Sock

Richard Shaw was at launch on Sunday taking measurements. Greblo is also involved.

If you remember, Richard installed several in the last 2 years in attempt to stay ahead of the &^%$ vandals.

Windsock

Post by RichardShaw »

Yes Don is correct Greblo is donating a 20 inch (mouth) windsock that he will be making new cloth for. I will be making adapters and prepping new pole including powder coating (greblo’s suggestion) however color was not discussed, any requests? This should be complete within the next two weeks.

Richard -

Thanks for all the months of work you have done on the windsock.

I'm hoping we can now keep one up there.

I wish to add my thanks to Larry's. I hope now that your generosity will make a more lasting physical impression, like the lasting mental one it has already made. Thank you.

Thanks for all the hard work, Richard. It is very much appreciated by all members of the club.

And thanks for the ride up the hill last Sunday!
