If your topic lands here, you either put it here yourself or one of the moderators thought it likely too polarizing a subject to stay in the General Discussion area

You will see the UK has had this same insurance crisis and used it to promote the hang gliding school monopolies and USHPA is copying the script to the letter. What UK and USHPA don't know is we know this and are waiting.

Come spring when USHPA tries to renew their monopolistic insurance in California regulators will be waiting.
We are building a case to take them down and annihilate them. (in a most entertaining way)

Oh and the UK Pound Sterling will have devaluation to the point of being a Puerto Rico Protectorate. Maybe a us State "Old York" with 2 senators.

Ken Andrews is too busy to deal with this because of whats going on in the Kepler Belt.

BTW what ever happened to:

I am gearing up for the digital postproduction of the Aoli, Comet Clones & Pod People II DVD.
This DVD will contain the original 1982 release, along with an essentially new film including
the 1982 Owens Valley contests.

I am working on a new California Law that requires Paraglider GPS Vario that beeps when within 300 feet of terrain. This is to warn the California consumer that the reserve cannot save you when you are that close to terrain/cliff. I am also studying ballistic duel reserve paraglider safety system. that works down to 50 feet agl.

Maybe the club lost its flying privilege via bad karma by not supporting what they know is right?

Or maybe a controlled burn got out of hand,

Or maybe the US Forest Service was conducting a land grab of private land owners at the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument.

Most likely the chaparral renews itself naturally through lightning based wild fires, not man made, unless man is a part of nature. After the rains we could see the California Poppies sprout from the aftermath.
