Having an In Case of Emergency (ICE) contact on your cell phone is an excellent resource for first responders trying to help you!
And, you'll be a better first responder if you know how to find a person's ICE contact(s) on their phone.

Here's instructions to set this up, and how to find the contact on various phone types:

The Apple solution worked great. The Medical ID page supports multiple contacts and other medical info like allergies.
On Android, I used the Lock Screen Message feature in the Security section of the Android Settings, for Android 6.0.

Note that most of these solutions have the contact on the lock screen, but Apple has them in a "Medical ID" page that you can get to via pressing "Emergency" at the enter password/Touch ID screen you get with a locked phone.
