Sylmar Baseball League Opening day baseball drop: March 4th

SHGA is going to liven up the opening day of our neighbor's little league season by flying down and dropping the opening day game ball from a hang glider! The kids go wild over this.

We need club members to pull this off.

George Stebbins has volunteered to do the flying. We need 4-5 more club volunteers. Please reply to this posting with your offers to help. We need these folks, set up with radios, to coordinate the flight time, and to keep the kids (who want to rush the landing field) contained.

It's a whole bunch of fun. Exact timing will get posted here, but it's a Saturday, pre-noon event.

In years past we've coordinated a ride up to launch for our SHGA volunteers who help w/SIBL Balldrop. Often the windsports truck or Fred Ballard will hold seats for us if we contact them in advance.
