This is also the date of the Andy Jackson Airpark anniversary fly-in. Any chance for a re-schedule or perhaps someone can record the presentation on video for those who can't bifurcate their astral spirits?

Honestly? I'd move the presentation to Crestline and encourage as many Sylmartians as possible to attend the CSS Fly-in and stay for the lecture if Mike and Joe are willing.

Super Event!!

Thanks for a great event and fine hospitality from a great club.

I've posted a few pictures of the event (and of Mike flying the Alpha earlier at Dockweiler) at the Friends of Dockweiler Gliding Society forum here:

The friends of Dockweiler Gliding Society is a free club intended to bring together pilots who want to support flying at Dockweiler. The current President is Frank Colver (USHGA #7), VP is Joe Faust (USHGA #5), and Historian is Neil Larson (USHGA #24).

Regardless of the BAD Timing (in terms of the CSS Fly-In)

Could we just take a minute to acknowledge Kevin Kernohan? The combination of his hard filmic work, numerous contributions to creature comforts in the L/Z, shrewd insights, acerbic wit, and being owned by the fluffiest dog--ever, make him EPIC!
Thank-you Kevin!
YOU TOTALLY $*&W*TT*R ROCK!
