Anybody taking advantage of these high days???
Sunday was Bad Ass, as in the coffee store in Rancho Cucamonga where I tank up before and after I fly Crestline. In fact here it is from 11,000' in front of Cucamonga Peak. Click on the image for a close-up and look for the pink circle.

That's awesome, Adam! I made the fatal error of first going to Andy Jackson where it was blowing down all day. Then I went to Elsinore and launched at 12:45 PM which was about 15 minutes too late and never got above launch. What time did you launch?adamwn2000 wrote:The view of Sylmar Ca. from 13,400 feet on Monday September 27 2010...............
BTW - The forecast for Ave S for Tuesday suggests that we can launch there and fly to the Owens Valley. Anyone interested?

OK, here are a few video shots of the epic flying on Monday that no one showed up for.
One question to all Sylmar pilots. HOW WAS WORK?

Adam, I knew it was going to be epic, but after four days away from the office, and a pretty good day on Saturday at Big Sur, like Stevie Wonder likes to say "I just couldn't see it". Awww, sorry Stevie.
Hey NME, I don't want to panic you or anything, but did you know that you had a BIG, NASTY red bug on your keel that day? Possibly Oecophylla smaragdina. Man, that thing could have crawled up the keel, under your harness, and injected it's neurotoxic venom into your neck! Dizziness, disorientation, and uncontrollable flatulence would have ensued. You're pretty lucky to be alive, man.
Congrats on the high flying to both of you.
