Mark your calendar for a day of fun at the beach!

Saturday July 26th
12noon - ???
Lunch served at 1pm

Longest glide and other contests

Bring beach toys, bikes, hat, sunscreen and a willingness to support our primary training hill.

Volunteers needed to help return shade units and tables to the LZ.

Soon we fly!

I like to give a big thanks to all who helped out with this fun event. We ended up getting there late (me, Andrea, Emily Rio) so I didn't get to help or see who was involved in the setup. I know Katherine Y, Greg A, Lynn M, Rob B, and others from SHGA helped get things rolling. And a huge thanks to WindSports (Joe for sponsoring the event with all the fun and instructional beach gliders/equipment, Andy for his enthusiasm and assistance to complete newbies, experienced pilots, and everybody in between, and to Greg for all his help to keep everything running smoothly).

The Dockweiller Beach site is not only essential to the future of hang gliding in LA but a really nice place to visit and to fly. Thank you.
