Yes, I am aware that it is not functioning. I attempted to restart /reboot it on Thursday.

I'm going to need to bring it down physically and attempt a recovery. Its getting power but not getting an ip address. I'm hoping I can completely reset it wen I get physical access.

Stay tuned ........

Camera is still good

I regained control of the camera today, it's functional but not in the LZ at the moment. I've got to reset up all of the functions before I can remount it again, maybe be back up by this weekend, but no promises. I'm just happy that the camera is not broken.

I'll be putting the camera up this evening and should be able to have it fully operational shortly after that.

I'm thinking the performance should improve as well with the recent router upgrade.

We'll know in a few days.

The Camera should be now fully automated so that it points at the correct place during the day. It's programmed to start looking at the windsock on top at 8:15 and then will cycle every 15 minutes from the LZ windsock to the top. At 9:05am it will stay on the top until about 3 when it will then focus on the landing to catch landings as they happen.

During the night it's on a patrol and will capture images when they are triggered by motion. Cycles between the gate and the pavilion and storage areas. I've got some good results so far but need a really windy day and some rain to see if it's too sensitive.

I'm still looking at the remote control sessions. The view only setting appears to be good but the logins for remote sessions seems wonky or not working at all. A bit of a work in progress......

Time to buy some coyote pee repellent...

No wonder Mike's new glider has that 'NEW SKUNK' smell.
