Friend needs a room for a few days

Hi All, My friend Andre is selling his house in MA and is moving in with us to manage our music/tv/stage show projects. Unfortunately we are not quite ready to accommodate him and his 2 very well behaved dogs just yet and a motel is out of his budget. If anyone living close to North Hollywood would ...

Can we prohibit people from playing 'oldies' music at this years spring air? It's geriatric, makes our club look bad. No: 'free bird' 'wheel in the sky' 'stairway to heaven' whatever 'tom petty' is or was I don't know who keeps bringing that ipod full of this shit to our event. But I'll be looking ...

How about some German industrial metal and punk like Rammstein, Megaherz or Dritte Wahl.
Now that we have good wifi why not use spotify that way we are not limited to someone's ipod favorites.

Once my elbow is back in flying shape I will spend a few days at Andy Jackson big o loop to work on my landing skills, with wheels, before returning to Kagel.
As long as I keep my eyes on the numbers I'll be fine and that should not be a problem after this experience. :D

Surgery yesterday when I received a metal plate and screws in my elbow. All went perfect according to specialist so I should be back in the air "on bicycle" by spring.
Will post exciting x-ray when I get it.

Re: Lollygag Landing Lament

...It all started with a virtual no wind launch barely clearing the bushes.... Should have pulled over to the curb and parked at that point then had your designated pilot continue the flight for you while you drove back down. Next time. Did that the previous Sunday and "wind or no wind ...

Of course none of this really happened and I was sh*t faced when I wrote it, so here is how it really went down:
I was riding my "bicycle" to the corner store when I just fell over and broke my elbow. Some say hang gliding is just as safe, I oughta try it one day.

Lollygag Landing Lament

So I really screwed up my landing last Wednesday simply by looking in all the wrong places. It all started with a virtual no wind launch barely clearing the bushes. Then after a short flight I was over the LZ with enough altitude to let Ken land. But I decided to give it one more 360 and then everyt...

Good riddance orange county!

I am done with orange county and the bullshit down here, tired of contributing to keep a $35,000 a month place even though it's pretty cool, tired of always just barely keeping up with bills, tired of being away from friends and tired of not having being able to go fly regularly or at all. So I will...

Of humans, dogs and broken toys

On occasion I wind up with scrapes, bruises and a broken toy. Yesterday my dog Ulli wound up with a swollen cheek and a broken toy at the LZ. We have more in common than I realized.
