Might there be any interest in an Owens trip sometime this summer?

Anyone want to help me make a glider rack for my car? I want to be able to transport 2 gliders on my toyota corolla, so I'd need a front support.....I also have no bike rack right now although I could get one as a base for the middle. I suppose 2 ladders could do it but I'm not sure, never having do...

yeah the owens is looking crappy. I tend to think that 6 hours is a bit of a drive to be bored on a ridge, so I might just hang out around here.

Anyone interested in a trip to the owens this coming memorial day weekend? I unfortunately have to be back here at some point sunday night but that still leaves time for flying on friday/sat/sun for me.

I flew all three. Didn't go anywhere outside of west towers to T of course because I'm a wimp, etc. Sunday and monday were both good, although both were less strong (IMHO) than saturday, but still with a great top of lift (>9k). My vario said I got to 10028 on monday but after I checked the tracklog...

As of one day ago its looking like I have to be in the bay area august 26 through 30 so its looking like I am gonna get screwed on colorado fly week this year. there might still be hope.........i'll let you know

I will likely not as I did something (non-hg related) to my neck and have about 25% range of motion on my neck right now which doesn't seem conducive to flying, but I bel...

So I hope to show up saturday night or sunday morning/evening but cannot take my own wing -- can someone grab my glider out of storage in the LZ? I'll send the info to any volunteers....
