I can't get enough of that video Markus! Now I know how those footprints got on the underside of your sail.

Hey Robb, I have a Sport 2 - 155 (The mid size). I am going to be away for a couple of months and then I want to fly it to get the rust out of my wings. After that I will consider selling it. It's a good ship too. You just have to be patient. If another one comes up...go for it. I won't mind keeping...

Can you remember who held your nose wires on your first solo flight? Most all of us can of course. For me it was Erwin. There I was. Thought I was gonna die! I looked to Erwin for reassurance. He smiled and cleared. I settled down and launched. For that moment I will be forever grateful. Thanks for ...

All along I have wanted to attend the CPR training but alas, I will be on a family visit to Japan at that time so now I have to drop out. I am not sure of my return date so I will look in to attending when I get back. Sayonara!

My favorite work of Zappa's? "Who Are The Brain Police?" I think it was 1966.

Actually Dave, Your idea about focusing solar power to melt roadway is genius!
In most locations you wouldn't even need to bother with the sand.

We're gonna need a lot of hot dogs, some coat hangers and some marshmallows

"Wheels"
Wheels are circular devices that are capable of rotating on an axle.

Now and then I make use of them.

Imagine the friction that basebar would have encountered with out wheels to dissapate it.

I think it is an outstanding contribution to our club! It will become a great resource for students, newer pilots and visitors. I wouldn't change a thing.
Thanks Jeff!

It's just so entertaining to watch your left hand reveal that bent aluminum.

This is one of the reasons Greblo urges pilots to be alert for changing conditions. Getting behind obstacles may be OK for awhile and then, in the same flight, it is not OK. In fact it is unsafe. Andy's advice is best. Rome's emergency plan seems reasonable but risky and a hard retrieve. Half a deca...

I can confirm that the accident did indeed happen. I spoke with one of the pilots. An eager new pilot who is getting his training and equipment in the least expensive ways. Even he is confused about what actually happened but it is clear that neither pilot cleared his turns. They collided head on an...

You're welcome Mike. It's gratifying to have some knowledge to offer. I hope you share this with your fellow new pilots. Lately I have been trying to become more sensitive to what the glider is trying to tell me about the air I am in. I go to trim and hold the base tube with my finger tips. Is a win...

Both of you are correct!
You can fly high and far. I was getting 35 mile flights at 15,500 msl and better pilots were at 17,999! Jonathan was doing 90 to 100 miles.

The city of Moore welcomes pilots to camp in the park and provides hot showers.
You will meet good pilots from all over. It's fun.
