Also if the actuator is pushing it should take vary little power to retract, right?
Doug, a limit switch is an excellent idea, but might not be needed if the actuator is the correct length.

Thanks Juan, I tried that APCO system when Erwin had it. I used a car battery and it did not have enough power for my Light Speed.

Just spoke to Greg Kendal and the big question is how much force is needed? Greg thinks 20:1 reduction @ maybe 20lb. That should be 400lb. of force. What do you think?

The feather weight one is only 1.1 pounds. Looks like the answer.

The first pick was great, but 2nd was gay!

The rubber mat, got pulled up by the tractor on the 2nd trip up to rework the ramp. If anyone has a larger rubber mat that we can use please step up. I'd like to cover about 12" of the edge in dirt, to keep it from being something to trip on.
