All drains were cleared by a small work party after the meeting on 12/13/14. The road did take some damage during the last rains but is still OK to drive with a high clearance vehicle.

Thanks to Greg Angsten for making it happen.

My 2 year old Moyes Matrix had one of the recalled caribiners. I bought a Stubai to replace it. I won't fly with 2 biners - just one GOOD ONE.

The deed is done and tested. It works. However OP failed to mention one thing before you start. You must UNLOCK your radio before beginning. For my FT-150 radio, push the F key and then the LOCK(6) to enable changes. This will save many of us a some grief since just about everyone runs into shorted ...

OP, This is a very strange place where you landed. When I landed there, the road was on the left side of the LZ when I made my final, and the cars drove on the right side of the street. This looks like some kind of a parallel "mirror image" universe to me, particularly since the cars are d...

I landed my Litespeed safely at this LZ yesterday but all did not go quite as planned. I had walked it twice before and had decided that I would make a right hand approach over the wash trees and come straight into the dirt path, avoiding the final left turn that Richard made. However after circling...

As stated by Mario in his first post, I fly a high wing loading of about 2.15 lbs per sq ft. on my Moyes LS 3.5 RX. As with Malury, I also enjoy great handling authority over the glider and I am usually NOT on the bottom of the stack. Having a glider what you can put exactly where you want in the th...

The road took a pretty bad hit from the storm. There are large rocks all over and some real deep ruts. Drive carefully!

Take some advice from a guy who has launched without leg loops on TWO occasions. You do not need to land zipped up. You can unzip and stand on you the boot of your harness until the very last moment. This is what I did the first time. The second time I decided that I needed to secure myself somehow ...

Ironman Sunglasses

I found a pair of Ironman sunglasses with yellow nose and earpieces in my car a few days ago. I also found long sleeve charcoal colored T-shirt. I will place these items in the lost and found in the next day or two, or as soon as I can remember to do it! Call me fast if either belong to you. 818-744...

AND, if it's my truck used, a 12 pk of Bud Lt is also required to cover the vehicle usage fee.

If you don't like it, you have 3 choices:

1) Don't land out.
2) Bring your friends down with you. It's cheaper if you split the fee(s).
3) Bring your own driver and fetch vehicle!
