I think Bob should sue for defamation.

With his settlement he could outbid you in your proposed Section 5: Option 2.

Why should there ever be a state granted monopoly without an auction in the first place?

I would wait, Once you have more hours on the 225, you mind may change your mind on what you want next. I was once itching to upgrade, but I have had some awesome glides recently where I stay up longer than people with high performance gliders. If anything at this point I might buy another falcon. R...

It looks like a nice glider.

At an advertised 9.5:1 glide, it is better than the XT and Sonic!

However I couldn't help notice that the video he included show him looping it and flying it in the rain setting up / taking down in mud¿

He should probably continue to own it.

Just have the club compensate him fairly. Gas + some maintenance + depreciation.

As the owner he would maintain control, keep it repaired ect. That is give it the care that comes when someone individual owns something.

You have asked the right person, 7000 and 6000 series aluminum have nearly the same modulus but vastly different ultimate strengths. So you can use thinner 7000 series and get the same strength, Yet no matter which you use; when it gets thinner it gets flexyier. They are saying to get the rigidity t...

About 8 of those 15 lbs comes from the 7000 series aluminum. To get a better comparison, look at the weight of the sport 2 155. Here is what WW says about the issue Question: Why does the Sport 2 175 size have 6061 leading edges? Answer: All current Wills Wing models use 7075 aluminum in the leading...

I like it too, Under the guidance of Windsports you should make an entire video set of proper technique. I recommend you place them all for free on youtube with a strong disclaimer recommending potential students to seek professional advice. With a strong Interwebs presence Windsports could both bec...

Torry is a treasure to be protected by those who soar. But efforts to keep equal access to the site results in getting punked and bullied by the USHPA. What is one to do? Have a lawyer write a letter telling them they aren't following their own bylaws? Is is appropriate to be a single issue elected ...

Looping a Single Surface (article)

I was asking if it is possible to loop a falcon, when someone (jokingly) suggested that I just try it. Sounds like someone beat me to it.

Low Water Crossing + Culvert for the LZ

I was thinking more along the lines of a Goft Cart Low Water Culvert for the LZ. With this form... http://www.nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?DocumentID=3754 it appears to be 240$ for the permit to construct such a device. A cement version of this simple style of culvert http://highmountainmuse.file...

Nice landing. The strong flare + "parachuting" looks like a good move with the tail wind.

As it was conspicuously missing from the first video I had imagined the worse case.

The Rod Serling narration is actually an improvement. But I think a theatrical dramatic reading would be best. Also, Even though a clean frame capture ended the live video, I get the feeling with a tailwind, a T2 and other unmentioned factors... an amazing "wack" may have been recorded on ...

Looks like rain on Saturday morning.

At this point I'd be happy with a sled run on Sunday through the stability caused by the clouds.

If the dam is going to be releasing for some weeks... and there is some wind at the beach... I'd be a H2 who could use some beach time.
