Big Thanks to Robert and Pi-Hsuan for this. I enjoyed it, and learned a lot.

BTW, who installed the air conditioning in the Pavilion. Turn that crap off. It was cold.

Do we need to bring our own blow up doll, or do I get to nail someone else's for a change?

Posting it is irrelevant. I believe it's part of a larger video that being commercially distributed anyway. It's hardly as dangerous as half of what's on Youtube and TV daily. There are 10 shows on TV every night of people doing far more dangerous stuff for the sole purpose of the risk itself. I sho...

After watching that video, I'm surprised there is anyone left alive from that era. I wouldn't fly one of those things with no chute, helmet, shoes, or sense anywhere other than the beach. You old farts were freaking crazy, and the weed wasn't even that good.

After my instructors, Greblo & Hungary Joe (who couldn't avoid me), Erwin was the first person to make friends with me at the LZ when I first joined SHGA long ago. He was the first local at this new place to create a connection with a new pilot - to make me feel like I belonged and was welcome. ...

Learn from my glider storage mistake

I'm not 100% sure of this, but it's my guess as to what happened. I opened up my glider tube (C -12) after about 2 months of neglect and found my glider laying in about a pint of liquid. There doesn't seem to be any way that the water could get in their, and nobody else seemed to have the problem. S...

G.D.S. = Greblo Derangement Syndrome It's debilitating and dangerous. I doubt there would even still be a SHGA without Greblo, and if there was, it would be a sad thing to behold. Many many people contribute to this club in big ways, but none like Greblo. Sure, it's partially out of self-interest, b...

RC Plane Advice

I assume this is a damned good place to get this advice: I have a Zagi that I destroyed before ever getting proficient enough to fly it, so I'm a complete novice, but I do have thumbs. My goal is to get an appropriate RC aircraft, learn to fly it well, and then attach a video camera and take videos ...

If you want, our rescue can take her and find her a nice home. We are very picky about who we adopt to, so she will be well cared for. We adopt out a lot of Chihuahuas.

<i>"The pilot in question is widely regarded as being an accident waiting to happen..."</i>

Now wait. I had nothing to do with this. The reason I don't fly much is to lower my chances of an accident.
