i launched and landed a hang glider--twice, at the beach in 5-6 mph wind, basically as north as you can get there and still have a launch. still can't run, but hobbled along successfully. SEE YOU ALL IN THE SKY, SOON!

older, wiser--but no less enthused,

Sweet! I am glad you will be able to return to the sky. After all this time being side-lined you must be really stoked!

Keep up the healing and soon you will be soaring again!

that'll take rob, most likely. i'm too boring, too much of a dork, too inclined to require carting away...no pre-sets, no style points, wrong speed, wrong glider...

BUT, at least i don't use, "it's too cold!" as an excuse!!!

JC-I had neck surgery before Thanksgiving, and just flew again on Jan 26. It drove me nuts to wait, but it was worth it. Ya gotta heal to fly! If you need a gentle evening glass-off, Marshall Mtn. beckons. Glad you got into the air again--kudos for the extreme patience. Joel

congrats! i hope your flight was awesome! i had a breakthrough of sorts today. i can do heel raises now on my right foot and ran (albeit in a shuffling along manner), for the first time, today, on the treadmill. so maybe i'll be able to hit the beach and the marshall's training hill soon!!!!!

thanks for the encouragement,
