I was hoping you'd drive out there and let the rest of us know.

Very little damage, I'm told. I'll be able to repair it in a runs with the skip loader.

I was out there yesterday after the rains stopped and there is in fact very little damage. There is plenty of water being released from the dam but it is staying behind the berm as designed. There is a small stream that always crosses in front of the runway but it hasn't put much of a rut into the dirt at all. Like Joe says, it is easily repairable. It looks like our excavator work is paying off.

As for the construction site, the plastic we put on last Saturday looks like it did a good job of keeping the footings from caving in. There was plenty of water in the trenchs but not too much new dirt or rocks that will have to be cleaned out before the inspection and concrete pour. The inspection and subsequent footing pour has been postposed until early next week in anticipation of more rain expected over the next few days.
