Wind Sock

Post by Fat Fred »

Merry Christmas SHGA!

I have donated a new wind sock for the top of Kagel and I put it in the Windsports office. I am hoping that someone on here will volunteer to take it up and get it installed.

George Boswell emailed me and stated that he will try installing the new windsock on Saturday.

Thank you, George.

George Boswell spearheaded the task force to install the new sock, generously provided by Fred, last Saturday. It is a very well-constructed flag that should last several years.

The windsock carries a white rectangle on the North/West facing side when the wind is from the South/East. If the white patch is facing South/East we are in a no-fly zone.

Everyone should have a look, thank the two above and let me know, if I got the directions reversed.
