Pretty hard up for a news story. Looks like there won't be a launch ramp at Marina for awhile, the local club got into mild trouble for cleaning up the beach.

Re: Marina Beach
I got a chance to launch this ramp once. Me and OP set up. The wind was weak, but we could not resist giving it a go. We both took quick little Dockweiler style flights to the sand. Ah well. C'est la vie.

Re: Marina Beach
I had a similar experience from the ramp. I ended up walking a little further south and launched. I was able to soar (Dockweiler style) quite a while even in the marginal conditions.Steve90266 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 2:26 pm I got a chance to launch this ramp once. ...

Great site ... even without a ramp.
