Litespeed 4.5s For Sale

Post by chadness »

it is in good shape. not sure how many hours on it as I bought it used also. it flies great; you may recognize it as one of the last gliders to land:)

If i can sell it I will buy a brand new glider. Otherwise I will just keep flying it and maybe just get a new sail at some point. The break even point is about $3,000 for me.

It is yellow/grey/black. Carbon sprogs.

Lots of videos of it at:

It is stored at Sylmar.

I saved up a bit more money while still flying this great glider and willing to sell for less. I'll just keep flying it if I don't sell it but the "new glider fever" is getting stronger:) $2300.

Have you seen the price of new gliders these days? At 2300, this is a steal.

List of current topless flex wings:
Icaro2000 Laminar Z9 $10,440
Moyes Litespeed RS "ultimate" $13,617
AEROS combat GT Unknown price
WILLS WING T2C $8,485
Airborne REV $9,553
Avian Evo 2 $10,625

A coworker picked up a brand new Hyundai for less than 9k.

This is still my primary glider, and having great flights with it, but would like to place an order for a new one asap. Dropping the price to $1999.

Hey Fast Eddy,

I'd probably have an even harder time selling the glider without its carbon. And this would involve another sale, modifications, flight testing, etc.

So thanks for the offer but the glider is for sale as is. You are certainly welcome to buy it, exchange some parts and sell the modified glider yourself.

Cheers,
Chad

yikes - I have learned that it will be much longer than I assumed for delivery of a new glider. Also it seems there is much less market value for this good flying LiteSpeed than I thought.

So, for now I will just plan to keep it/fly it through the summer and then re-evaluate when I have a new glider, etc.
