Plus, I have tremendous respect for those guys.
So, anyway, the day wasn't looking all that flyable, thick marine layer up
to launch level, sharp inversion line above that.
By the time I got ready to launch, everybody was already on the ground.
Usually I fly with ballast (to be close to min. pilot weight for my RS), but today I flew without any ballast. And even then felt like a new H2, fighting hard the whole time (about 1 hour), just to stay up.
Max altitude-3800. No oxygen.
