It was much better than expected (and looked).
There were 4 of us, Big Mike, Jonathan, Darryl and I.
The sky started to turn white/grey too soon with high clouds
floating in. About 1PM, ready to launch, it looked like the best we
could hope was an extended sledder.
I launched, carefully timing the cycle, and soon it was apparent
we were in for a nice treat.
The air had some "character", for sure, but for winter flying, there was
some good lift too.
I played between Lances and West Towers, while Jonathan
went to Big T, and............
no, you didn't guess it, he made it back.
Altitudes: Jonathan got to 5231 foot, 5 and 7/16 inches.
I got 5400+change.
Darryl got 6. (Minutes).
Big Mike was having some harness issues, so he had to land early.
