There was Andy with tandem, Ron and I.
We launched around 2, it was a bit windy, and the winds were
a bit switchy and choppy.
We were getting near 4.3, but nothing inspiring about it, specially
towards T-s.
Later I got to 5.1+ west of towers, but the winds had picked up
more and it wasn't getting any smoother.
So, basically, we played on the west side mostly and called a day.
About our setup area and launch ramp:
Big thanks again, to Joe and friends, who did a tremendous amount of work there. You won't recognize it.
The setup and approach are wider and flatter. There are 2 designated "pads"for hang checks.
The ramp is wider too and steeper. It also has moved east a little.
So heads up, on your next launch be aware of different from usual
air currents around you, adjust accordingly and watch your AOA.
Ron took some quick snapshots...
