H2/3 Trip to Garlock Saturday

Post by greblo »

I'm running a lesson trip to Garlock next Saturday that's open to H2's with 10 hrs. or more. Those that are more advanced and and/or have flown there before are welcome to join the party. I'm hoping Richard Shaw, Don Banas, Malury, Eric Brown, Frederick Wagner, Max, and lots more will decide to come join us. I'll organize the student load if you guys organize the more experienced guys.

Email me for details at windsports@earthlink.net

Cheers;

Lots of guys that want to go can't make it this Saturday so we'll make it the following Saturday the 7th of March.

What about the poor guys that can't make Saturdays? :(

Where's that Sunday trip you once made mention about?

Where would you like to go, when, and, oh by the way, who are you?

Garlock

Post by Love2glide »

I'm up in Ridgecrest and would like to fly Garlock with you guys. I have a 4x4 Yukon, but just the factory roof racks....I could carry maybe 3-4 gliders for those who dare. I also have a driver that will help us out if I am nice to her.

The road to launch may be a bit rougher than usual due to recent rains.

What time/where (LZ?) do you guys plan on arriving at Garlock?

The forecast looks pretty good for Saturday. According to XC Skies there should be light winds and 500-600 fpm updraft velocities, or around 200-300 fpm climbs. Not great but not too bad.

I don't think anyone from CSS is coming..oh well. See you there!
