BATTEN BAG (WITH BATTENS!) FOUND IN L/Z

Post by jcflies »

on 2/16 or 2/17
looks like U2 144/145 battens (that's what faint writing on velcro fastener says)
they are in L/Z, right by lost and found

let's hope you don't drive all the way to, say, slide mountain, only to realize, on launch, that you have no battens...

The person who found the battens in the LZ believed that they belong to Scott Orland; they were found in the area where he broke down on Saturday 2/16. They also called and left him a message. He lives somewhere near LA center (323 area) and it may be that he just figures he'll pick them up next time he flies.

If anybody knows where the battens ended up please let me know. I already spoke with Janyce, Jim Thompson and Greblo, and looked around LZ, storage container and Greblo's house/garage.
