My fellow club mates,
"life" got on the way, and i made a commitment to get things done
before i could fly again.
That didn't work out very well, because it took much longer to
finish than anticipated. My last flight was in December of 2010.
I used to fly a lot, so a year and a half seems like a long, long time to be
grounded.
But I am back now.
I hope I didn’t forget how to fly, but I will take a safe, conservative
approach to my “rehabilitation-find a Falcon or something, do bunch of
takeoffs and landings, start out in mellow, evening conditions,
until I am confident to transition to my glider.
Looking forward to see ya all, in the air or in the LZ.
Vrezh.
Ah the thrill...

I'm sure Cutter can help you on the road to recovery.Vrezh wrote:...

Welcome back. Can hardly wait to see Flora and Benji in the LZ and you in the air.
Thanks for a warm welcome, felt right home!
We are truly touched...
And what a wonderful place has our LZ become!
Those, who envisioned, struggled, sacrificed, and achieved-big salute!
It is an honor to be amongst you.
SHGA is awesome!
P.S. Sunday, May 27 we came out again, I had my second real mountain
flight, got to see many of you, beautiful day, familiar faces, beer and
food, Benji was one happy camper...
Thanks again, everyone, it's such a feeling to be greeted with open arms.
P.P.S. Now, the fun part, let's go analyse my "dishonorable return to
earth", AKA landing.
