Hi Doug,
I don't recall this particular Karate Kid scene, but I can make a pretty good guess.
USHPA is out of control. When they start grounding pilots for testifying in a court of law, they've crossed the line. USHPA wasn't even a party to that lawsuit, but they're connected through the back door to the insurance company who was on the hook. USHPA's role in the insurance scheme should be to keep claims like this from happening by imposing solid standards in the industry. But instead, they've taken on the role of silencing (or eventually grounding) anyone who might dare speak up.
Thanks for being one of the seemingly few people who understand the consequences of this precedent.
Sincerely,
Bob Kuczewski
