Lynden Vazquez has been made Captain with Sky West!
I'm sure all who know him are pleased, but few as much as me.
I can't tell you how great is is to have watched Lynden grow up, get married to a wonderful girl, and begin to raise a family. As a 16 year old kid who discovered a hang glider in his grandfather's garage, he went through our "Teen Program" at Windsports where he went on to become a H4, a flight instructor, a private pilot, a student at Embry Riddle University, a commercial pilot, a tandem flight instructor, and now a captain with a prestigious airline.
Now that Lynden has succeeded in reaching this career goal, I hope he soon draws Los Angeles as his base terminal so he can continue to fly with all his friends at SHGA.
