"Lift and Tug Before You get Off!" At the beginning of our launch run lift the glider until we clearly feel our leg loops pulling up against the inside of our thighs. This confirms whether or not there is a connection going from our legs to our glider. I have had many acquaintances who did...

It Works!

Philldor and I discussed implementation of the new landing pattern radio etiquette as we climbed out this afternoon and then we put it to the test a few minutes later (because it was an overcast day). Since our conversation was rather bland I replaced it with some trip hop music from Glen Porter. Bu...

We could you a whole army of invaders like you as we become ever more insular and inbred by the day without a little of the all-too infrequent outside intervention. If you're ever this far down the state be sure to come visit.

One his way today!

Posted on Facebook a few hours ago... Four months to the day after Ron's accident, we are heading home. Ron knows where he is going, and is optimistic about the long road ahead. He walked through Newark Liberty and boarded the flight on his own power. As of tonight, Ron will be living at home, and d...

FS: Wills Wing U2 160 Dacron Sail 40 hours $3,000 X-Cond

An acquaintance of mine in the Bay Area has a very low hour U2 160 for sail with a custom Dacron and Hydranet sail. $3,000 sounds like a great price on this glider: https://youtu.be/XOedEO50rxY

Please contact me directly for more information.

Thanks, Jonathan

Great news!!

Posted earlier today by Ron's brother Tal: Week 12: Ron Keinan has been at MossRehab for four weeks, and his progress has been remarkable. He is now speaking in full sentences, coherently, in English and in Hebrew. His memory is patchy, but notably more consistent and more contiguous from week to we...

Thanks for the report Jeff. I was hoping to sneak in a few words direct with my matzoh bro the last time I tried calling his room but got the HIPPA treatment from the nurse. I'm glad to hear his voice second hand through your keyboard.

Re: Zipper lubricants

I've seen people use silicone spray to lubricate their zippers on their harnesses and their VG systems... poking around on hanggliding.org, people seem to like sailkote better because it's a dry lubricant and won't stain the sailcloth. Has anyone had any experiences using it, good or bad? I'd love ...

Great News from Ron's brother Tal - 11/7/2016

Posted by Tal on Facebook this morning: Week Eight: Thanks, as always, for everyone's continued support. There has been progress on our end. Ron Keinan was transferred to the Moss Rehabilitation Center, in Philadelphia, on Friday. His progress, in the last week, has been very encouraging. He is exhi...

Re: Info on the Candidates for Region 3

All I see is a write up on Pete Michelmore, who is not running. Anybody have any info or thoughts on Dan DeWeese versus Chris Grantham? Should we all write-in Ken?:)? Thanks, Chad Ken's already an RD. I voted for Dan DeWeese because he is impartial and does not have a potential conflict of interest...

Ron was pretty attached to his glider. Hopefully his connection to it had a healing effect yesterday. No harm in being a little bit superstitious in a positive way.
