It's always great when these kinds of topics trend toward descriptions of recovery. The accelerating advances in medical technology remind us that we should never say "never" on what the future brings. I still remember the worldwide media coverage of the first heart transplant. A buddy of ...

Thanks Larry. Here is an outstanding video you may have seen by Wayne Yentis. Time to look again. It's got so many beloved friends and some who have left the Earth already. Katherine Yardley at the 30 minute mark, Rome Dodson, Irwin too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FvqIhDBn3E&list=WL&index=9 Thanks ...

Since the SHGA forum has been relocated, the previous link no longer works. Here's that same link updated to the new address format: http://shga.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=5305 By the way, it is highly disappointing that Joe Greblo appeared to harbor (and possibly spread?) an incorrec...

Bob Bendetson's Complaint
A week ago today, I was at Dockweiler with two friends that I know through work. I brought them to Dockweiler for a fun day of flying. You can see some pictures here: https://ushawks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=2749&start=220#p26690 Bob Bendetson was teaching, and he did a fine job. Thank...

Re: Discussion with Bob Bendetson at Dockweiler today
Thanks for the help. The comments that appear to have offended Bob Bendetson were in Doug's "Ken Andrews is a tall and brave pilot" topic. I have reviewed that topic carefully, and I suspect that Bob Bendetson's sense of offense was magnified by his own sense of guilt for not taking action...

Discussion with Bob Bendetson at Dockweiler today
I had an interesting discussion with Bob Bendetson at Dockweiler today. Bob complained that he felt I'd been too critical of him in some of my posts. So I came to the forum with an open mind to review my past comments. However, I haven't been able to find them regarding Bob. If anyone can help, plea...
