NOTICE OF AUCTION SALE


Saturday, May 14th at the end of the Spring Air festivities, there will be an auction sale of 2 hang gliders previously stored in the Club’s storage facility. The sale will be held at the Sylmar Flight Park. The gliders are:

Airborne Sting XC2 154
Good condition

North Wing Horizon 166
Fair/good condition


1. The gliders will be available for inspection a half-hour before the bidding starts.

2. Bidding will start at $250 for each glider.

3. Bids may be submitted in writing, if accompanied by a check in the amount of the bid. Bids in writing must be placed in the pipe vault at the LZ before the auction. The highest written bid will be announced at the beginning of the auction.

4. Bids may be made orally at the auction.

5. The glider will be sold to the highest bidder, whether the bid is oral or in writing.

6. Payment may be made in cash, by cashier’s check, certified check or uncertified personal check. If payment is made by uncertified personal check, the glider will not be delivered until the Club’s bank notifies us that the check has cleared.
