May 9th - Flow Visualization with Honza at Marshal + XC Task

Hi guys, we are having a special event for our next SoCal XC meet with Honza Rejmanek coming down to join us and give a flow visualization talk after the flying. It will be at Marshall on May 9th and will be a joint XC/Sprint task to encourage everyone to come out to hear Honza's talk and support his fundraising efforts for this year's Red Bull X-Alps race. I'm really looking forward to hearing Honza speak as he has a phenomenal knowledge of weather which enables him to make superior decisions in the air. His talk will center around flow visualization and weather models to help everyone make better decisions in the air to maximize XC distance. Spread the word and let's get a great turn out for the event.

The event will happen rain or shine since Honza is making a special trip down. If we don't fly we will extend the clinic part to cover more topics. Prepay is $40, after Thursday May 7th, it goes to $50. All proceeds will be going towards Honza and the USA X-Alps Team.
