Gridley Street Neighbors

Post by Jim »

As many of you know, one of our neighbors interfered with and prevented the theft of patio chairs from the LZ. When this came up at the board meeting, it led to the board deciding that a small token of appreciation was in order for all the neighbors bordering our activities. To that end, a gift of a holiday design mug filled with chocolates, a $15 gift card to Vons and a letter of appreciation was delivered to each of the homes on Gridley street.

Every neighbor visited was surprised and very appreciative of the gesture. All were invited to visit our LZ and told they would be welcome at our events.
There are two kinds of people in the world: the quick and the dead.

Although the BOD totally supported this, the idea was brought to our attention by Cathy Thompson. She and her partners, Kat Shaw and Nancy Robertson, did a fantastic job as our events coordinators, giving us great events without breaking the bank. What a great last gesture on her (and partners) part! Please thank her, Nancy and Kat for their service the next time you see them!

Kevin K. has some big shoes to fill. I wish him luck!
