An intrepid gaggle of Sylmartians, including Greg A., George S., Arthur S., Kia R, Sue S., and Steve & Pat M, embarked on an epic adventure to the Owens Valley this WE. Conditions at Walt's were less than optimal, with anywhere from 0 to 7 mph winds creeping up launch. It was Sue's first time in the Owens.
Thanks to the mentorship of the veterans, Sue had two tremendous flights without incident, even soaring over launch on a day that was forecast to be marginal at best. Landings were safe with no injuries, no broken downtubes, no broken bones, and no bruised egos. All in all, a safe, fun flying trip! Let's go again sometime soon. Thanks to all for making the trip a success!

Yep, Sue kicked some serious booty, flying well in weak conditions. Thanks to all who went, and made the trip better by your presence.
