You would not fuggin' believe it!
I went back to Sydney after the Tocumwal comp and Jonny talked me into staying...I actually had my glider short-packed for the airport and while I was not looking Jonny un-short-packed it...so...I had to stay. I worked and the Moyes factory for the week which was very educational and then we came to Manilla.
Manilla is a town started in the late 1800's and has a population of abouut 400 people. No ammenities here...but who cares because the flying is EPIC!!!!
I will be posting some photos on my blog as well as updating the content.
PS. I have seen hang gliding go really really wrong several times since being here and it is not pretty. So far - one death, one trike destroyed in a dust-devil, one Hungarian tumbled, and two severly blown launches in the last two days. But, there is something about being in a sky full of clouds at cloud base that makes it all go away.
