sunday i went to a family reunion held at the dominguez adobe in carson,(a really great place for a picnic.in the old adobe there was a room dedicated to the first american and foreign air show to be held in the u.s.a. thr first show was in france& the winner had the honor to select the next years location.& he chose the dominguez adobe in carson. it was held on jan. 10th thru 20th in 1910. they had derigables ridgid frame airships,hot air balloons and wright bros. type airplanes with up to 5 wings. they give tours sat. and sun. it's well worth the trip.
