From all my reading of this forum in the last few days I think we got the nice guy who wants to do everything right but does it the wrong way and gets nothing done cause he acts like the not so nice guy. So can we get the nice guy that wants to do right and knows how to act nice so he gets something...

If it were up to me I would 'boot' non-flying pilots that have expired membership. I would let the paying ones like Barton stay.
