Moyes Mission 170 older intermediate glider
The day after this add was placed, Windsports instructor Andy Beem test flew this glider at Sylmar and pronounced it air worthy. He stated that it handled and thermaled predictably and that it was well trimed (flys straight /no turns).
During his set up and inspection, he did find one blown out batten pocket on one of the two nose battens but stated that this is easy to overcome by simply leaving the two nose battens in all the time. Overall, he thought that this glider has very low airtime from the way it looks and flys.
I think it would make a good Yosemite glider for an advanced pilot or a glider for a beginner/intermediate flying on a budget.
