Flying/intro Nov 2/4/5/6

Hi!

I’m an SF Bay Area HG pilot, visiting LA for the week, and hoping to fly with y’all if conditions are favorable. I’ve paid for a monthly SHGA membership and read through the material on the website. If anyone is going flying this coming Thurs, Sat, Sun, and/or Mon and could introduce me to the site, please let me know, thanks!

Hi Jeremy,
As long as you are an H3 or above, we are happy to have you fly here. There should be people flying on the weekend as long as Santa Ana northeast winds are not blowing. For a site intro you might ask for Jay Devorak who is our site caretaker in the LZ. Rob Burgis is another pilot who lives nearby and is often in the LZ. Even better, you might contact an instructor from windsports.com. They are typically flying tandems on weekends and you can arrange to meet them in the LZ and perhaps get a ride up with them.
