Weekly Email Blasts

You may have noticed that an SHGA Email Blast has been appearing in your mailbox the last few Thursdays (if you're not getting one, tell Lisa Wendt at lswendt@earthlink.net ). This is an ongoing weekly effort to advise our far-flung membership of flying news of immediate interest.

The club now has three ways we keep in touch: "High Times," the newsletter of record; SHGA.com, for breaking news, Pilot Forum discussions and site introduction to the public, and Email Blast advisories.

Email blasts are intended to direct attention to information already published on the Web site, or in "High Times". New Web Site postings are automatically included.

I think the email blasts are really a great information source. They are current, topical and easy to review and click for more information on topics of interest.

Lisa puts them out. Jay keeps track of our email addresses. Chip adapted the masthead. Ken and Freddy and the BOD provide guidance.

The content on the Site and Pilot Forum, provided by veteran and advancing pilots who are among the most skilled and motivated in the world, is what gives the email blasts value.
