I have been getting so few days to go flying lately. Would have been a real bummer to deck out so early on such a decent day. With finding nothing promising on the glide all the way to the corner house I really thought I was done. Even after the first circle, only just barely maintaining, which is common in little bubbles over the LZ. Still in doubt after several turns, weak broken lift, slow climbing, but at some point I transitioned from "holly cow this is possible" to "for goodness sake don't loose this thermal and f-up this second chance"...

It happened to work out nicely for Chad but whoever it was, c'mon, don't be a dufus, get your glider off of the landing ramp pronto.
