Amazingly Short Flight

Post by ©hris »

I was just watching the webcam (which is something I never do) and just had the page loaded. I was immediately excited and thinking "great! those guys are getting to fly today!" with loads of people lined up on launch.

The next person that launch flew to the end of the launch ramp and landed (aka blown launch) - who was that?

Looks like they moved back up to the top with out problems so they seemed to be ok... I hope so.

Whoever you are... you are a moviestar!

Checked out the Kagel Kam at 2:15 p.m. and saw two guys launch and one hang-waiting for 10 mins. Nobody appeared flying over launch.

Looked like folks were setting their keels down on launch. No wind at all?

STill, woulda liked to be there.

Sat Fly

The blown launch was Rome. I understand that he hit someone with his leading edge as he started his run. I saw him in the L/Z and he is fine.

Flying was actually very good. A convergence day. I got to over 5,200 by Towers Launch. Temps were in the mid 70s. The only problem was the wind was sometimes blowing down on launch.
