Elsinore LZ Update

Elsinore LZ Update

Hello all,

The judge in our case is set to rule, he has posted a tentative decision, but his ruling is still unofficial. We are awaiting some word from the court as to the way in which it will eventually rule.

Until then, we have been instructed by our lawyers to continue to use the Elsinore Oak Tree LZ.

We are also desperately in need of money. We have a very short term goal to meet (July 30th), that will keep the LZ open.

We are asking everyone to contribute now if possible. If you make a large year end contribution (remember we are a 501c3 Charitable California Corporation), then we would ask that everyone donate that now! If you don't normally make a large contribution, but rather like to support the EHGA with membership dues, we would like to ask for an extra $25 at this time.

But hurry, JULY 30th is only a few days away.

Please send checks/cash (appropriately packaged) to:

Bill Soderquist

Secretary EHGA, Inc.

39481 Oak Cliff Dr.

Temecula, CA. 92591

billsod [circle-a thingy] verizon[periodHere]net

Or see our Paypal Account at www.theeteam.org. Also, any EHGA member may collect funds to forward on to the Association. We are trying to make it easy for you.

And thanks in advance for your support. And believe me, this will not be the last time that we will ask you to support one of the worlds best hang gliding and paragliding sites this year.

The EHGA is working hard to keep the LZ open for you.

More info to follow as we get it.

flying and helping the Elsinore LZ

Post by bricksfly »

I haven't heard anything recently about the ruling for the Elsinore LZ.
What is the pilot level requirements for flying in Elsinore. I am still a H2 but have flown at Ave S and Marshal, would I be able to fly in Elsinore? Are there any instructors on-site?
Would be a nice outing for a group of Sylmartians and we could probably make some donations to the cause while we are out there...

Thanks for sharing the info on this famous LZ. It would be a shame to lose it...
